Playing with CSS

I took a few days off work to relax a little, and decided to play around with some CSS effects. So, I created a slider menu. Check it out here. It doesn't work in the slightest in IE...go figure. The links are all over the place. In Chrome, it works...OK. I'm still working on it. The links only rotate if your mouse is directly on them, and for some reason, the width transition doesn't work. I haven't tried FF.

EDIT: Got the link rotation working, still no width transition.

That is why I actually use IE as my primary browser. Develop for IE first and any issues that remain for the other browsers are usually easy fixes

Although keeping in mind it is good to have an idea what IE doesn't like first hand.

Also, the support for CSS3 is lacking <IE9 which I'm sure you are aware

I get what your saying, and I agree...mostly IE its very picky. If you can write markup that works well in IE (excluding IE6 simply because it does not render certian css properties correctly, fixed position being one) more than not, your markup will render the same in more sophisticated browsers.

That being said, I do not, will not, absolutely refuse to use IE as anything other than a testing browser.
