Photoshop Templates vs Dreamweaver

Hello all.

I've been attempting to create my web templates in Photoshop and transfer it to Dreamweaver. But when I attempt to add information in Dreamweaver, it messes up my template. I've tried adding tables, and layers (oh my goodness the layers will not cooperate at all). Is there another way I can add my information to my templates without messing them up?:confused:

I am not a "Template" person, but when i do find a nice one, I just create my own tables, then use the images from the template. I don't always follow the template layout, but I find it a lot easier to use some of the images in my own layout, than to attempt to use a template.
