The site looks great, you are very talented, the main thing I would change is make the header area in blue more streamlined and not so high as that area has no content and does not really serve any useful purpose as you have to scroll down to see content. I would also make the white text navigation links a darker color so that they stand out better.

Thanks for the nice comments, we're looking in to making a few of the tweaks mentioned, it's really useful to have a proper critique, it makes the design much more appealing.

personally, i disagree with ian on the header. i like it the way it is. the one thing that does bother me though is how the center/black area does not have the same border and shading as the blue and white areas do. makes it look very out of place to me. but then again, few will be viewing at such high resolutions as i am. just my .02 cents.

I agree with ian. I would shave about 1/3 off the header.
