Orkut

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum, it’s very informative and enjoyable really.

I’m curious about Orkut and I wonder what you people think. As you know Orkut is social networking site operated by Google. It’s less popular than Facebook or Myspace and Twitter. There’s a chance that they can become more popular than Facebook? What do you think?

my understanding is that orkut is just the indian facebook owned by google.
I doubt they could beat facebook.

I have never even hard of it... but I'm barely into facebook, gave up on myspace, and refuse to use twitter while Paris Hilton has an account.

Orkut is very nice constructed. Ya its not popular as Face book and Twitter. But it can be because orkut is becoming more and more popular in Middle Asian Coutries. And thinks Indian, Pakistani, some European countries& chines People Using it. So the Population wise They may come over from Face book, Twitter or My space.
