Membership website with WordPress

Hello everybody!
I want to create a membership website. I want to install WP in a certain directory and have a little HTML "welcome" page. When users type my domain, they arrive to that "welcome" page, from where I want them to enter their user names and passwords which would lead them to the actual website with WP. So the question is: how can I have the native WordPress user enterance form on my custom made HTML "welcome" page? What code should I copy from the CMS in order to make the form appear on my index page?

You may want to check the wordpress site. There may be a plugin you can use to acheive your goal. If not you do have the option to make the landing page in wordpress be an actual page instead of a post. And you do not have to have posts on the first page at all. So basically you really would not need a seprate html page unless you just wanted one.
