making a link open up to a different site

What I am trying to do is make a link from a site that I do not have administrative control over go to a different site that I choose. I want this to only happen on MY computer of course, is there any possible way to accomplish this? Ideally, the link would open up into a different picture and whether it opens in a new window/tab is of no issue to me.

did not get you much,

but you have to use the target attribute

set target="_blank" in the anchor tag.

not really understanding what your are trying to do. if it's on your own computer set a bookmark to the page you want to navigate to and click it.
