Hello I would appreciate any feedback on my new project reCODE. It is a newly developed community that provides tutorials and resources on web design topics.

Do you guys have any suggestions design wise or any improvements I could make?

instant impressions:

H1 headings are FAR too big.
A pastel shade of turquoise text on a white background is too low in contrast.
The navigation looks "unbalanced" using centre aligned text without having a fixed width for the container element.
