I designed this website and I'm working on a matching buisness card. I'm using a lot of white space, though. I hear a lot of graphics design teachers say black and white are for dorks and no one uses it unless they are un creative. I'm wondering if I'm using too much white or if it matters. This is the design for the site: www.microraptorarts.com
and this is my business card: http://microraptorarts.com/images/Raptor-Business-Card.jpg
My website and business card were using other colors in place of the white space before, but the color combination looked unprofessional. I noticed a lot of the most professional looking websites have a lot of white space, so I modified my design so it had more white space. After I added the white space, it looked a lot more professional. I'm wondering though, if my design is uncreative or not for resorting to using a lot of white. What do you think?
