Internet Explorer Menu Problem?

I've been trying to hook up this menu for this website I am making and what I want is a vertical navigation menu, but rather than text I want pictures. So I searched for numerous scripts and such one is http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/index.htm - well when I go to that page under Internet Explorer - it works fine. When I download the stuff and save it all - It DOES work under Mozilla Firefox, but NOT under Internet Explorer - obviously, the script is supported because I opened the page http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/index.htm under IE. So in short - works under IE, when downloaded and saved ONLY works under Firefox - any ideas?

When you say saved, have you just saved it to your local hard drive or actually uploaded the files to your web host.

I saved both javascript source files as well as the inserted the correct HTML to execute the scripts. Tried it on my hard drive and my server. Like I said it does work on Firefox and it does work when I go to the site on IE (The original site where I got the script from) but not when I do it myself. Thanks

I would try asking at the dynamic drive forums where you got the script from, http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/ it would help if you posted a link to the page where you installed the script and it did not work in IE.
