Importing Wordpress blog into website

This seems to me like a simple idea. What I would like to do is import a current blog into a website.

I'm including a picture of how I would like it to work... let me know if it is possible.

You would probably want to use option 2. Not sure your knowledge of PHP but it's just a simple rss feed.

Just out of curiostiy if you already have a wordpress blog why not just customize it to look like the website and turn it into a cms with a blog? Wordpress has come a long way from just being blog software.
