Image Mapping to image

I have a client that has a map of a real estate development in pdf format. He wants people who visit his list of Lots to be able to click a link that zooms to that specific Lot on the map.

I was thinking that I would use image mapping with a jpg to do this, but I don't know if this is possible (and if it is, I don't know how to do this). Is this the best way to do this? Please help. Thank you.

image mapping is probarbly the best way to do it unless you want to get into creating flash documents. I tried to do image mapping once, but I never finished that project!

I agree, image mapping would be the quickest route and then use some JavaScript to make your zooming effect.
