how to prevent images from stretching on different screen resolutions?

Hello again,

I am wondering how to make images look the same on different screens.
I don't want them to stretch.
Any help is welcome.

Thanks!

can you post a linkt to what you mean?

otherwise just specify their size in px

My site is not online yet.
The problem is that when I view the site I am creating on my laptop, it looks fine, but when I view it on another computer which has a larger screen the images are stretched vertically. The resolution of both screens are the same-mistake :)

So, I thought there should be a css or html trick to keep the images look the same on all sorts of screens...

well upload it somewhere so we can take a look

have you defined the images in px? if so have you checked that the screens are set up to the right ratio? do other images look streteched (say amazon.co.uk or similar)?

Ok, you're right. The problem is the other computer's screen, which shows everything horizontally streched...
Thanks.:)

Make sure the screen is at it's native setting or testing a site on it will make things, well, very odd.
