How much to charge?

Hi all, a potential client is asking for a quote to build a website and I'm not quite sure how much I should say.

He wants the site to be very similar in look and functionality to www.teambuy.ca - what would you charge for a site like this?

Also, this is a more complex website than anything I've done before - I'm a designer not a developer. In the past I've built sites with a CMS like Joomla to get some advanced functionality without having to do a bunch of coding, but by the looks of this site that likely won't be possible, so perhaps I could find a web developer to do much of the coding - any tips for this?

One way to work out how much to charge is to work out the number of hours you think it will take and times this by your hourly rate. Then look at the company and see how many staff they have or turnover (estimated turnover). Reduce the overall cost if the company doesn't have a lot of money. ROI works both ways but it is a lot harder to put the price up than it is to come down - if that makes sense.
