How do I protect photogallery with password?

Hi guys,

I'm building a website fot elderly cooking club. One of the pages contains their photo's. My client doesn't want everybody to see these photo's.

Is there a simple way to protect this page with a password? They don't want to login of any kind of registration shebang.

I'd appreciate if you can help me out with HTML or maybe PHP code.

Usually your web host will have a way to password-protect folders which is the downright easiest (but also the crudest) way. Just make a folder with that section of the website inside and password-protect that folder... Just ask your web hosting provider about password protected folders

There may be other scripts on the web which you can use via placeholders and such.

You could also use a service like smugmug, flickr, or picasaweb.
