I would get rid of the sound, and get rid of the main intro page and go directly to the main page. On the main page, I would include an actual picture of the church with members.

thanks Ian for the comments. The site I am still working on, I definately will put pics of church, members etc... just have not got that far yet. Only reason i put the enter page was that my daughter loves that picture...tend to agree with ya on that one may have to fight that battle lol! As far as the music goes I really love that part , and thought that maybe since the music can be turned on and off it would be okay...i pull up that page just to listen to the music while i'm on the net...what don't you like about the music being there, how does it take away from the page? Anyway, this is still a work in progress, and I appreciate you taking the time to comment on the page and appreciate your constructive comments.

Hi, the song is nice, the problem with sounds on web pages is usually that they start playing on their own which can be annoying. If you're not expecting it it can give you a scare or some people have kids napping and don't want them woken up, some people are at the office, things like that. If the visitor can manually start it IF they want to hear it that is ok.

I dont like any music unless I turn it on, if you did a survey, most people prefer the same. There should be an option to turn the music on, not turn it off.

you would think if i put the autostart to false that would make a easy fix and you could just click on if you wanted to listen to....but ohhhhhhhhh no that did'nt work lol any idea's. Can someone look at the view source and see what i can do to edit it please. I am using nvu by the way but the code was copied and pasted under the source part of nvu...not sure that matters but just in case. thanks!

nvm got it...see if ya like better now . By the way suz there is a ton of music on there...maybe 25 or 30 songs, if your interested try em out.
