This is my first web site. And the backgrounds in the tables are not matching. Why is that. The site is only HTML and PHP. Do I need to add some CSS to do this right or there is easier way?

Two boxes on left have same light grey, then there is right box with dashes border and white background.

Looks like the backgrounds are jpg files so you need to sort the colors of the source graphics. Redo them, upload to the images folder of the site. But the match at moment. Do you mean you want the right area with dashed border to have same grey tone ?

Did you fix the problem? I looked at your site and I only see one grey box at the bottom and a shadowed box above it to the left?
