Guestbook vs Testimonials submitted

Hi, I am building a peforming artist website and he already has some testimonials that he has acquired from the past and that he wants on the site. However, he will want people to be able to leave new testimonials too, so Im not sure if I should go with a guestbook or simply a form where people can leave a testimonal and then that testimonial gets manually integrated to the page showing testimonials.

I like the ease of a guestbook...only problem is that you can only include testimonials that were made online, as a result of visiting the site. I dont see how they could include what has been said about the artist elsewhere (eg. media, letter, etc.)

Any ideas?

A guestbook where you can moderate the entries would be the easy way to go.
