guestbook/comments-section

Hi,

I've added a guestbook to my website and a comment-section to certain pages/parts.
The problem is that there is lots of spam posts.

I looked on the net for possibilities to include captcha to my (existing) guestbook, but couldn't find any helpful information or tutorial?

Could someone help or suggest something on the internet?

You can view the guestbook and the comment-sections + the coding here:

Thanks already! ;-)

the guestbook part isn't that important ... like you're suggesting I'm gonna drop it I think.

But I like to have a comment section for some pages or parts of some pages.

I've never been been a facebook user/fan .. but I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.

If you have a better idea ot r tip/tutorial for a comment section for video's than the one I've got on my website .. please don't hesitate to tip me!

Thanks.

well the way I look at it, a comments section on your site built in the site, will only be seen by those on the site. a plugin like the facebook comments will be seen on your site, AND in the newsfeed of all their "friends". like it or hate it facebook is a pretty awesome tool for "spreading the word". plus it's familiar to about 1billion folk worldwide, so they will comment without thought because of its familiarity. plus unless they are seasoned trolls they probably aren't going to hide behind an avatar and say random horrible stuff or spam you for viagra, etc. it's linked to their personal profile. if they write as an ass, everyone will see it. pretty solid filter that...
