Event Calendar Website

Hey All,

I would like to get some feedback regarding a new website that I have while i'm still in the development phase. I would like to know what you think about the color scheme, and overall layout, both of which I do not like. Thanks in advance!

Well, it's a calendar. You're not doing anything here that you couldn't do by sharing a Google calendar.

It looks cool, just pretty plain. What do you want to do to "spice" it up?

I like the green... but as mentioned, it's just a simple calendar (something that could be done with Google Calendar). But if you're in the business of making custom calendars for clients or just using the site to get experience, I'd say you did a good job.

I have posted on freelance website and I plan on getting these things on the website:

-A Logo at the top
-Images for the buttons: Search, Go, Add Event, Contact
-Image Titles for the pages: contact, add event, search
-A row on the top and on the bottom of the calendar with graphics. Top/Bottom calendar frame.

Do you think these are good ideas?

I wouldn't do too much since it is a simple calendar and it should stay a simple calendar. No need for crazy graphics etc.

I would spice up the background a little bit since there is so much white that it kind of looks "undone". Add some nice but plain pattern or so...

I would also move the "Add Event" button to the top. On my laptop for example I do not see the button unless I scroll down ... that is rather contraproductive.

I think I pretty much agree here. The background could use some treatment. I would keep it simple as it was made. Don't go too crazy adding extra graphics unless you plan to turn this into more of functioning website with detailed event information rather than a calendar.
