Hi all,
I am currently working on a project that help people to remotely generate websites with absolutely no knowledge in web development.

I am kindly asking for reviews and any opinions.

The purpose of my post is not to advertise, as the product is at the alpha stage of development. Rather, I am looking for any thoughtful inputs on whether or not this idea will actually work.

Your opinions will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

this website is loaded with pages made by people who dont know a thing about webdesign and development.

http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

check it out and tell me if it is worth your effort to create something for a market, that simply can just use word and save it as a html. oh wow I've made a website. yay.
also I sure hope you aren't using ap elements to create this, as it will only make things far far worse.

So what you're saying is... You're trying to eliminate OUR jobs with a shitty little web site that spits out shitty code and make OUR lives a little bit harder... way to support the community... prick

I agree. The last thing we need is yet another WYSIWYG editor out there helping retards ugly up the web.

the only way I can think that this would be useful to web designers is when they are working with a GD.

I've built enough websites in my time that simply a hand drawn sketch is the most I usually need for a "blueprint"

however when working with a GD they usually make a version in something that is relevant to them, ie photoshop, illustrator, indesign or just give me a pdf to work from.

A web-based development that feels natural to a GD which can be translated incredibly easily by a web developer would be a good thing. I've worked with some pretty awesome GD's in my time, but the majority of them dont even know what <p> means let alone the entire kit and kaboodle.

Perhaps thats the marketing avenue that you might want to go down. But just another blah for people with no web (or graphics) skills to build total rubbish is not what i'd like to see...

just off topic, there is an ad just above this dialog box for cs5.5. wtf? is it only half an improvement? why buy 5.5, obviously its not entirely 6 yet??? typical adobe just trying to screw us over. again.

Phreaddee,

I'm not entire sure of what you mean?

I value your input highly could please be a little more specific on what market should I target? And how I shall pivot my product?

The demo should work in FF4 / Chrome.

Not tested in IE yet
