I've designed a new site using XHTML and CSS and can't understand why it previews correctly in Firefox and Explorer - on my computer - but when I view the site on the web using other people's computers, the main frame, instead of floating and aligning correctly to the right of the left sidebar, drops below it and throws other frames out. I've tried reducing the width of the frame a little to see if it will pop back into its position. The frustrating thing is it worked anyway on my computer, just not others. I 'm now trying odd adjustments and getting my girlfriend to keep checking her screen at work to see if the adjusts then make it work on her computer.
What concerns me is that I can get sites to apparently work well in browsers and validate with the W3c, but then other people may see something completely different.
Any advice would be very gratefully received. The URL is www.thewoodlanders.org.uk
Many thanks,
Nick
