there is no copyright over "div" or "p" or the like.

beware tho, if the site you create "appears" to your professor to be better than the work you have produced to date, he may or may not grill you over certain aspects of it, and your reasoning for using such code. If you don't follow up the stealing with at least some basic research into why it works the way it does, he will see through you and no doubt fail your ass!

honestly tho HTML ain't rocket science, and you really ought to learn it the proper way, otherwise what the hell are you in that class for anyway?

You basically have your answer if you aren't going to ask you professor in fear of him saying no anyways. If you think he is going to say no then your conscience is correct with it being wrong. You are a student and this is the project set before you so now you need to decide whether to asked permission to use a template or cheat the system.

Phreaddee is right if it appears to be better than the other work you have done. When I was in 6th grade I did a report on Babe Ruth that my mom helped write. I read it up in class and the teacher told me "tell your mom she did a good job on the report" and proceeded to give me a D.
