Dreamweaver compadibility?

Hi Folks,
I have a client that wants a website and I design my sites in Dreamweaver. They want to be able to edit them themselves and being a church, they want to do updates often. I know they probably don't want to spend the money on a new version of Dreamweaver to be able to edit the site, but I've heard Adobe Contribute would work. My question is, can someone using Contribute open/edit a Dreamweaver MX file without messing it up? I use Dreamweaver behaviors in my menus and such and noticed that other programs mess the whole site up when you try to open the files.

If you know how to created templates and uneditable regions in dreamweaver.

Contribute can be used to alter you web pages without affecting uneditable regions (the template).

It will work, it just means that your whole site will be editable in contribute, even the bits you dont want the client messing with (page layout, menus etc)
