Critique appreciated

I have almost finished the design of my blog, I will post an article a week and it covers all aspects of web design, I have a handful of articles on their already (well 2). There are still some major issues in IE, please ignore those for now! - I would appreciate your critique on the design?

i like the look. very solid. only thing i would say could be better in content layout would be a problem i had last year with semi grey text. that some people with older monitors cannot read the content easily. Making your text white might give a nice glow to match the pink as well as make it easier to read on lesser quality monitors. just thoughts but looks good

Thanks for the feedback, I am addressing the contrast issue and trying a few different colors. Thanks.

Easy to read, a minimilast approach, color combination is definitely different, and fast to load, looks ok, not sure I like the pink though.

I didnt notice much difference from the original design apart from that it may now be populated with more content.
