cpanel 10 email authentication help

hello im trying to setup a php login system on my website http://obtp.net/OBTP.html
the problem is when people go to register it is suposed to send an email to them to activate their account but it doesnt send an email
i think the problem lies in the email acount on my cpanel
when i look at the configuration for it shows

Manual Settings
Mail Server Username: administrator+obtp.net
Incoming Mail Server: mail.obtp.net
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.obtp.net (server requires authentication)
Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS)
Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)

i think the problem is that the outgoing mail server says server requires authentication

does anyone know how to authenticate it

according to your manual settings i havent seen any pro in here, why don't u just check this setting on your c panel again
