Hi all!

I recently built a website (from scratch, no WYSIWYG!) for my friends' band, Room 217. Could you help me by letting me know what I should change with it? I currently need to go back and redo a lot of coding - I built it using depreciated elements, so I'll be changing it to get it up to standards. How does it look from a design perspective? Is there anything that you would change?

Thanks! :)

Tables = Fail, use CSS.

On my screen resolution i see the repeating background... looks tacky

The color scheme and the idea is nice it's just poor execution especially for SEO purposes

Took a bit for the photo to show up... I thought it was just that purple bar on the left for a while.

The design is cute, especially the color. But when I checked the "BOOKING INFO" page, I can't read the infos/content on that page. I suggest that you change the color of the fonts there.

I totally agree. The design is salvageable.. but you should consider trying a 100% background image (and learning some css). A layout like this will be a good one to learn on. Also, can you tell me why you decided to add a link to the mobile site? I've haven't come across this before..

HTML5 + table based layout = fail. Not that the design isn't bad, look into CSS-based layouts please.
