Best way to go

I'm not a designer and need a website built with an online store, and having trouble finding out how to proceed. The purpose at this time is not a question of who to use, but what? I would love the recommendations of the experts.

Want something SEO friendly and the online store needs the following:
shopping cart, work with Paypal and credit cards, track inventory so to not sell out of stock items, allow promo and discount codes, volume discounts, auto generate order confirmation email and invoice, integrate w/UPS, maybe by using something like ShipWorks, auto generate email to customer of product shipped with tracking number, in other words, most of the eCommerce basic bells and whistles

Based on very, very limited knowledge, I was planning on using WordPress for the main site, and linking it with an eCommerce platform, like Magento Go, and then integrating Paypal and ShipWorks. Is this a good way to proceed? or is there a better way?. Seems like the more I learn about all this the less I know what to do.

PS One thing I have going for me is the domain names I have for the site are the exact same words that people will google to search for the product.

I appreciate your input.

You'd be better building it on a single platform. You could use some sort of eCommerce plugin for WP, or use an eCommerce platform that allows full sites (I don't know if Magento does this). All in all, though, you'd most likely do better hiring out a custom solution.

My understanding is that Magento is not a full site, and so very limited SEO. I'm not married to any of it yet, just looking for input.

Thanks
