    wow, the red on the green background is almost unreadable to me. The page loads fast enough though. The graphics near the top could be larger. It is kind of hard to see what they are about. I like the green box dividing the space though

    I love the layout and design. Color scheme is great. Really fresh. I agree you should have some larger picture of cut up orange slices . The ones at the top are kind of small.

    You should design your logo in adobe illustrator because it does vector graphics. Then you don't have to redesign it for larger images. At the very least, If you use photoshop, design it in 300dpi and then save for web and devices to get a compressed .jpg for web

    Photoshop or Illustrator

    I find photoshop most easy to work with and have been using it for about ten years on my own. Now however, being a graphic design student, I love switching between the two, but rely on photoshop for effects. I use illustrator for creating line drawings without shaky edges.

    Coffe cup makes a visual site designer you can design it by drag and drop. Use something, since you are just learning, that easily switches between code and design view Not all the free ones do. Coffee Cup has a bunch of pruducts, including a flash search engine, all for about 40$
