A friend of mine told me that Google has been messing with their ranking algorithm in the last few days. Your ranking may adjust to something closer to what you're used to seeing after a few weeks. Whenever Google makes adjustments, rankings go wonky. Nothing much you can do. .

I think your design is getting better. I like the simplicity of this one over your first layout. I would change your logo back though and get rid of the embossing. The embossing doesn't work. The orange that you had in the logo was good because it was clean and had a modern look to it. .

I think that Dreamweaver is far superior to Frontpage too. A new web designer's best bet is to learn Dreamweaver.

Wasn't there something recently about alt-text working fine for swapping a word for an image? Essentially if I want to replace "Bunchion Widgets" with an image, and I use the alt text="Bunchion Widgets" the image will hold the same value as the word that was there previously? I'm only talking...

Looks good! But I would play with the nav bar a bit. Maybe check out some of the Dreamweaver spry elements. But overall it's a great first start. Cheers Alice
