to make your life easier you should go setup an account over at noomle.com | they don't charge you anything to set up your site, they give you a host of templates to use, and offer tonnes of support. i've setup a few over there, and its great.

i'm a big fan of colourlovers.com myself. however, sometimes the best way to decide what works well is just to grab an image you want to base your design around and just use that palette and the dominant colours which come with it.

So many people are talking about Adbrite. As opposed to Google, it seems like that they don't screw as many people around. All i've read is people complaining about how Google closed their accounts on them and withheld their earnings, even after being with them for months.
