the BEST place to host your site

i've noticed in the forum a bunch of people are paying big money to have their tiny sites hosted, while others want a decent free place to host their site. i've come across a great system that i think will work for both people. check out http://www.noomle.com because they offer to host your...

    New and Very Lost

to make your life easier you should go setup an account over at noomle.com | they don't charge you anything to set up your site, they give you a host of templates to use, and offer tonnes of support. i've setup a few over there, and its great.

The big how much is your site worth topic!

there's a tool out there from Estibot.com which gives you a flat reading of what your site is worth. its not meant to be anything other than to figure out some background info on your site, or a good way to con an inexperienced buyer into buying your domain :P. other than that, sites are...

    Please review www.webcreatorhub.com

looks pretty cool right away. maybe making the layout larger rather than having it condensed to what seems like 60% of the page would be nicer. that way it would open up a whole lot of room. noticed that your actually using an animated gif file. thats sort of old school, but if you like it...

Why isn't my signature not showing?

i ran into this problem with another forum, i'm unsure if its the same thing with this forum - but sometimes the signature doesn't update globally. if thats the case, thats what problem you've run into. if not, you should contact an admin. ps. dimebag rules.

    hii all

if your looking to offer illegal games and what not i'm pretty sure there are no advertising companies you can partner with (such as Google, and Yahoo to name 2 big ones). if your looking to put copyrighted music on there, thats another big no no. ebooks, i'm sure that its fine as long as you...

    Drawing curves

also, there's a bunch of tutorials out there, because you can make the curves in many ways, there's not just one way to do it. also which program do you WANT to use to make it? if its corel, then i know nothing about that program because i gave up on that about 10 years ago. but if its...

    Compress PNGs

what are the pictures dimensions? sometimes that can contribute to the overall size regardless if your are using a PNG. i ran into that problem awhile ago. however, try resizing it if thats the issue and then saving it. if not, you may be using a larger color palette than what is recommended...

Different colors in IE and FF

when you designed this site, what did you design it in? sometimes if you are using a dated program it may not have bugfixes with it that corrected these problems.

    Website colors!

i'm a big fan of colourlovers.com myself. however, sometimes the best way to decide what works well is just to grab an image you want to base your design around and just use that palette and the dominant colours which come with it.

    Advice to a newbie please

probably the best way that you can learn is to get some advice from others by posting a thread asking for reviews of your site. that way you'll get some tips/opinions from people on what you can change, and how to change them. everything takes time, and especially with web design and coding...

Is there such a thing as a reliable host?

Agreed. I think if your going to take anything away from this, remember that the number one thing your looking for is QUALITY. Because truly, no one can guarantee a 100% up time, that's why they'll all boast of 99.9%.

    Kanoodle beat Google for Me

Thats usually how it works with some of these sites. Their not well known so their not overly developed like Google would be. And the sad thing is, if they get anywhere near as close to google they'll end up changing the format completely where everyone's getting robbed just like they are at...

How much is a link worth?

So many people are talking about Adbrite. As opposed to Google, it seems like that they don't screw as many people around. All i've read is people complaining about how Google closed their accounts on them and withheld their earnings, even after being with them for months.
